Event on Alteris

The second you reach the other side of the portal, you realize you are in a new land. High mountains rise to your north and east. Ahead is a huge canyon. Off in the distance, you see a Bridge across the canyon, but it is impassable from here. You also can feel that this place is magical. A few minutes after arrival, an ancient shaman steps out of a previously unseen hut and hands you a wand!
