Potion of Fire Resistance in Heroes 4

The hero who drinks this potion gains the special Fire Resistance ability for the duration of one combat.

Dwarves were the first to create a fire resistant substance that protected them from the heat of their deepest mines. What they used was a sort of grease that had to be rubbed on the skin. Later, a wizard created a version that could be ingested.
